Nordic Demographic Symposium 2025 – June 14, 2025

The Democraft team was lucky enough to be invited as volunteers to the Nordic Demographic Symposium hosted in Middlefart, Denmark this past week! It was such an amazing learning experience for each of us and we couldn’t have imagined how valuable this would be. We are so thankful to have been able to interview a number of guests and speakers from the Symposium for our podcast, Democrafting the Future. This podcast will be even more special because it will include video! Stay tuned for that soon, as well as some extra content from the Symposium.

Symposium Announcement! – June 4, 2025

Panagiota, Suray, Corinne, and Eli from the Democraft team will be joined by fellow classmate and member Anela for an exciting opportunity to be working as volunteers at the upcoming 23rd Nordic Demographic Symposium 2025, organized by the Dansk Demografisk Forening! The symposium will take place from 10–12 June at the beautiful Hindsgavl Castle in Middelfart, Denmark.

We’re looking forward to engaging with fellow demographers, exchanging ideas, and contributing to this vibrant and important event. For everyone who hasn’t yet had a chance to listen to our third podcast episode, we’re especially excited that we’ll have the opportunity to speak with some of the keynote speakers featured in it – now in person!
